Today we had a team of 4 adults, and 2 children including our own UPR soil specialist volunteer to support solo agro-ecological farmer who had been hit hard by Hurricane Fiona. Her business is a vegetarian food/juice truck and she had lost all her crops . we helped her clear with weed trimming and clearing the land to prepare for planting. This mission was a cultural experience to work alongside a couple other farmers that brought their well cared for bulls to help support the effort. We helped the farmer with over 30 days of labor according to her.
