We spent a full weekend with our volunteer brigade helping a really devastated agro-ecological single female farmer to organize, chainsaw and cut and clear over 120+ trees and debris. Farmer was so grateful and shared with us that our team had helped her do over 1+ years of work based upon what she and her 1 part time employee had been doing on their own. So grateful to all the volunteers and Sumer Farms for hosting the brigade for amazing relaxing time to disconnect after hard days of work on the farm.
