Luis is a former factory worker who suffers from illnesses that have not allowed him to return to work. He lives in the house that his mother lived in who has since passed away. The house was damaged during Hurricane Fiona in 2022, with the interior being gutted to the studs as the wooden walls were damaged with mold and termites. PR I Love You will rebuild the walls and ceiling.
