Don Luis is a 78 year old organic farmer pioneer on our island as a solo farmer and sole caregiver for his ailing wife, was unable to repair an irrigation system he had set up for his farm that collects rainwater into tanks that is then distributed by hand to irrigate his many organic crops. The PR I Love You brigade successfully replaced, repaired and re-installed rain catch drains and connected them to cisterns. We mended holes in the netting surrounding his greenhouse, and helped cut down and reduce branches that would have been nearly impossible for him to do alone. Right after our job was done a storm approached, ready to test out the newly repaired system.
