Who is Te Amo PR?

Te Amo PR (formerly PR I Love You) is a certified 1101.01(a)(2) nonprofit and a federally recognized 501(c)(3)organization based in Puerto Rico. Our mission is to spread love, compassion, and kindness across the Island through direct action and community-driven initiatives.

We focus on building a stronger, more compassionate Puerto Rico through:

  • Food security and farmer support
  • Roof repairs for families still impacted by Hurricanes Fiona and Maria
  • Education and youth empowerment to break cycles of poverty

Since Hurricane Fiona, we’ve led 180+ missions across 51 municipalities, supporting 25 farms, repairing 120 roofs, and mobilizing 1,649 volunteer days to support 31 agroecological farmers, helping secure Puerto Rico’s food system.

In Puerto Rico, “Pa’lante” means more than just “forward” — it’s a spirit that embodies resilience, progress, and collective momentum. It’s the rallying cry that says we keep going — together. PÁSALO PA’LANTE, isn’t just encouraging acts of kindness — it’s celebrating the powerful Puerto Rican tradition of passing strength, joy, and solidarity from one person to the next. It’s kindness in action, rooted in culture, pride, and community. PÁSALO PA’LANTE is an open invitation to be part of that forward motion — to move with purpose, uplift others, and remind Puerto Rico of its unstoppable spirit.

  • Pásalo Pa’lante is a bold and beautiful, island-wide movement led by Te Amo PR to inspire world record-breaking acts of kindness from November 7 – November 11, 2025.
  • It’s about uplifting our communities, neighbors, and each other through intentional, everyday actions rooted in love and compassion.
  • Acts of kindness can be big or small. The point is to do something kind or selfless for someone else without expecting anything in return.

November 11th is already a powerful day in the world — a day of service, remembrance, and reflection.

  • It’s Veterans Day in the U.S. — a day to honor those who have served.
  • Globally, it’s Remembrance Day — marking peace after conflict.
  • 11:11 is widely seen as a symbol of alignment, awakening, and new beginnings.
  • Many view 11:11 as a kind of wake-up call — a reminder to slow down, pay attention to what really matters, and reconnect with intention. It’s also seen as a powerful moment to set clear intentions, manifest positive change, and take action that aligns with one’s deeper purpose.

In a time of division, kindness and empathy connect us. It reminds us that showing up for each other is necessary and powerful.

No — you can participate in Pásalo Pa’lante anytime from November 1 at 12:00 AM through November 30 at 11:59 PM. That’s a 5-day window to pledge and complete your act(s) of kindness. Ambassadors are leaders who help guide and mobilize their local communities. They’re the heartbeat of the movement on the ground.

  • A City Ambassador organizes and encourages acts of kindness in their municipality.
  • A Regional Ambassador supports multiple cities or a geographic area, mentoring city leaders and keeping things coordinated.

Influencers are key partners who help amplify the message of PÁSALO PA’LANTE through their platforms. Whether you’re micro or mega, your voice can inspire others to act. We provide tools, suggested posts, and visuals to make sharing easy and impactful.

Friends of PR are allies of Puerto Rico — whether you live on the Island or not. These are individuals, families, and organizations around the world who feel connected to Puerto Rico and want to show support by participating in acts of kindness on 11/11 from wherever they are.

Absolutely! Businesses, nonprofits, churches, schools, and civic groups all have a role to play by:

  • Organizing a team kindness day
  • Sponsoring events or provide resources
  • Adopting a school, neighborhood, or family
  • Inviting employees or members to participate
  • Promoting kindness internally and on social media

Yes! Acts of kindness can be big or small — what matters is that they uplift someone and can be paid forward. Here are just a few ideas:

  1. Pay for someone’s groceries or meal and give them a kindness card to pass it on.
  2. Offer a ride to someone who needs transportation to work, school, or the doctor.
  3. Buy a school supply kit for a student or teacher in need.
  4. Surprise a neighbor with a hot meal or homemade treat.
  5. Help someone write or update their resume.
Cover a small utility bill for someone going through a tough time.
  6. Babysit for a single parent so they can rest or run errands.
  7. Offer tutoring or homework help to a local student.
Bring coffee and a note of encouragement to a frontline worker.
  8. Help a job seeker prep for an interview or offer to lend them a professional outfit.
  9. Host a free community workshop (e.g., financial literacy, cooking, creative arts).
  10. Deliver snacks or lunch to teachers at a nearby school.
  11. Organize a group to deep clean a community center or elderly neighbor’s home.
  12. Hold a donation drive for lightly used clothes or books to benefit a local family.
  13. Offer translation help for someone applying for a job, healthcare, or services.
  14. Sponsor sports equipment or art supplies for a youth program.
  15. Invite a new neighbor or community member to your family meal.
  16. Host a “ride share day” to help people get to work or school.
  17. Create “blessing bags” with hygiene items and snacks, and give them out in person.
  18. Help a neighbor fix or paint something at their home.

Absolutely — and thank you. If you have the resources to go further, your support can spark powerful ripple effects. From covering tuition or sponsoring job training, to helping families with stable housing or launching a youth fund — your generosity can create real, lasting change.

We’ve seen kindness take the form of:

  • Donate laptops or tablets to a school or nonprofit for students who need digital access.

  • Sponsor tuition or school fees for a student with financial need — and ask them to mentor another student in return.

  • Pay for professional certifications for job-seekers or single parents (e.g., CDL, CNA, welding, cosmetology).

  • Hiring and mentoring someone in need
  • Supporting therapy for youth

  • Matching community donations

  • Or even starting your own pay-it-forward challenge

Big or small, kindness that uplifts people — and empowers them to do the same — is what this movement is all about. If you’re ready to go bigger, we’d love to help you connect the dots.
