Civic groups and associations play a vital role in strengthening the fabric of our communities — and on PÁSALO PA’LANTE, we’re inviting yours to help lead the charge. As a civic kindness ambassador, your group can rally neighbors, mobilize resources, and inspire others to join the movement — creating a ripple effect of kindness that reaches every corner of Puerto Rico.

You can design your own kindness activities, events, or projects and invite your team to participate. For example, your group can:

Nonprofit Organizations

• Organize a day of service with staff and volunteers (e.g., clean a park, paint a community space)
• Host a free workshop or clinic (e.g., financial literacy, wellness, job readiness)
• Distribute care kits with hygiene products, school supplies, or snacks
• Write thank-you notes to donors, clients, or frontline workers
• Create an “acts of kindness station” outside your office for the public (with cards, flowers, notes, or snacks)

Community Organizations

• Coordinate a neighborhood clean-up or beautification project
• Host an intergenerational storytelling circle with elders and youth
• Set up a kindness board or wall at a community center
• Partner with local artists to create public art or sidewalk chalk messages
• Offer free community meals or food distribution

• Host a prayer and kindness walk in the neighborhood
• Deliver meals or prayer cards to the sick, elderly, or homebound
• Invite youth to lead a kindness campaign after a service

• Share testimonials or stories about acts of compassion during Sunday service
